When we nurture children’s natural curiosities, they develop a lifelong love of learning. At Brooklyn Doodles we listen to children’s interests and engage each child at their developmental level. Our mixed-aged 2/3s classroom encourages cooperation and collaborative learning, while also offering many opportunities for self-expression.
In the spirit of the Reggio Emilia philosophy, we offer a varied array of classroom manipulatives, toys, and learning tools, and observe the children in the environment. These observations inform our teaching, as we are the facilitators to their learning.
Our multidisciplinary approach to the curriculum takes into account their diverse interests while giving them a solid foundation for school. We document academic growth and their learning process through photographs, videos, and written observations.

The school year runs from September through June with our summer program running July through
mid-August. We are open 8:00am - 6:00pm, Monday-Friday. We follow the DOE public school
schedule and are closed during major holidays and school breaks.
